Olympic Windsurfing Champion Barbara Kendall (NZL) has been elected a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) at the 123rd session of the IOC in Durban, South Africa. Kendall won a gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona in the Lechner Class. This was followed by a silver medal in 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia and a bronze medal in 2000 in Sydney all on boards. Read more
